Beauty Etsany Tukura, a Model and the 43rd Miss Nigeria has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija house after spending just 15 days on the show. On Sunday, the 7th of August was the day she was disqualified after she got a double strike due to her violent act in the house.
Recall that the 24-year-old got her first strike barely a week into the show as a result of her fight with another housemate, Ilebaye. On Saturday, 31st of July, Beauty and Ilebaye had a misunderstanding right after the first house party. Beauty was pissed off after seeing her lover, Groovy dancing with Chomzy whom he had earlier claimed to find attractive. Ilebaye interfered by trying to calm Beauty but things went south. After exchanging a few words, Beauty was triggered to pull off Ilebaye’s hat and wig while she was seated.
On Saturday, the 6th of August, Beauty was angry with groovy again for dancing with Chomzy. She claimed that she had told him to dance with any other housemate he wants to dance with, apart from Chomzy. Beauty wasn’t having it, hence the outburst. She yelled at him and threw her wig and eyeglasses at him. Some other housemates also had their shares of her anger.
On Sunday, Big brother gave her a double strike for breaking two rules of the Big Brother house; physical violence against another housemate, and potential damage to Big Brother’s property as she flung her microphone. This subsequently led to her disqualification from the reality TV show.
Beauty Tukura is the first Big Brother Naija housemate to be disqualified within 2 weeks of entry into the Big Brother house. We wish her the best in her post-BBN journey.
